Professional Development Leadership

Digital Innovations Pathway (DIP)

The DIP program is an initiative created by my school district to encourage technology leadership and technology innovation in teaching within Poudre School District schools. As an advanced participant, I create professional learning communities (PLC) for my school and colleagues that provide instruction and resources for using technology effectively in the classroom across contents. This process also includes self-reflection on my performance as a tech user and leader to show my growth over time.

PLC Networked Learning Space

In an effort to expand connections between building teachers and other teachers throughout the district. I designed a private Google Plus learning space where educators can digitally get together to discuss technology use, access district news and resources around tech, as well as show off how they are using technology in their own classrooms. The goal of opening up communication lines in this way was to increase collaboration among teachers.
